When your business receives a customer's online booking via Slick, your business will be notified and you are required to approve the booking within 60 minutes. The approval process ensures that you are a real business.
If the booking notification comes through during business hours, you will have 60 minutes from the time the booking is made to approve it. If the booking notification comes through outside of your business hours, you'll have 60 minutes from your opening time to approve the booking.
Approving a customer's appointment
To accept the booking, in your Simple Salon account click Slick (top left corner). You'll see the number of bookings awaiting approval in the green circle.
Before accepting the appointment, you can View it to see how it will look in your operator's appointment column.
Once you're happy with it, go back to the Slick dashboard and next to the booking click Accept. When prompted, click Accept again to confirm.
The appointment will be booked into the operator column and added to the History section of your Slick dashboard.
Go to your Appointments page to see the customer's appointment in the operator's column. The appointment will be grey to indicate that it has been paid for.
The client will be sent a confirmation SMS/email letting them know that their appointment has been accepted.
The appointment will display in the My Bookings section of the customer's Slick app, under Upcoming. When they tap the booking it will show the details of their appointment at your salon.
