It's very easy to add a percentage markup to your usual salon prices for services offered on Slick.
For example, let's say you would like to charge $10 for an Eyebrow Wax in the salon and $11 for the same service when it is booked via Slick. There's no need to change the normal price of services in your Simple Salon account, instead, you can simply add a markup percentage to your services in Slick.
Adding a markup to your service prices in Slick
In your Simple Salon account go to Slick. Once in your Slick page, click the Admin tab.
Expand the Service Settings section.
Enter your desired percentage amount in the Service Price Auto Mark-Up field and click Save.
NOTE: If you want to mark up your prices by 10%, only enter the number 10 into the field.
Now when you view your services in the Setup tab of your Slick page, you will see the markup applied.
When you Edit the service in the Services section of your Slick page, the price which is displayed is the price you have the service set up as in your Simple Salon account.
In this example, the 10% markup has made the Eyebrow Wax service $11 (which is what a client pays when they book it via Slick), and when you click Edit you can see that the normal salon service price is $10. If you edit the service price here in Slick, the markup will be automatically applied to the new service price.
When bookings are made via Slick there is a small 10% transaction fee per booking. Therefore, to help you recover this fee you can pass some or all of the cost to your customers by using this markup setting in Slick.
